Abstract
Security of one’s property has long been a concern of people throughout the world. Beyond hiding the objects or constantly guarding them, the most frequently used option is to secure them with a device. Today, there are circumstances where security and safety has been tested whether at home, in the office, or any public or private places. Reports showed that motorcycle stealing was rampant and the number of motorcycle accidents in the Philippines were high as they expose the driver and passenger/s to twice as much risk than in four-wheel vehicles. Although there have been laws implemented on motorcycles, accidents have been declared as one of the leading causes of death in the Philippines. These scenarios prompted the researchers to develop a device which will secure human lives and property using Arduino technology in a motorcycle anti-theft and safety device.
